IPMS Houston is a chapter of the International Plastic Modeler's Society (established in 1965) located in Houston, Texas. It is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is the enhancement, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of fine-scale modeling.

Despite the word 'plastic' in the name, all scale model builders are welcome, regardless of the type of materials used. Every aspect and type of fine-scale modeling is welcome. Whatever one's skill level or area of interest, they all form a part of the IPMS community.

We are a group of people who enjoy building scale models of all types. Our club is open to all interested in modeling: automotive, aircraft, military vehicles, watercraft, figures, fictional (sci-fi / fantasy / horror), and dioramas. All ages are welcome.

In the history of aerial combat, many nations have painted their aircraft in various forms of camouflage. Here is a list of some, but not all, of the aircraft and their camouflage pattern. As a modeler, it is often difficult to paint these patterns. In the process of making the drawings for my website, I have created a paint mask for each of the listed ships. If you would like one of my masks, one can be made for you.
