DOOM v1.9s SHAREWARE
After the success of Wolf 3D, ID Software began writing a new and improved
game engine. The night that this Shareware software became available on the INTERNET, the WEB
very nearly shut down, as so many people were attempting to down load it.
Ultimately, there were over 24 million copies of the registered version
sold. Remember, in DOOM, you have no friends, kill everything that moves.
