Title : ACADEMY.WAD Author : Tony Bruno Email Address : bruno@badlands.nodak.edu Ever wonder where all of those soldiers you have to kill come from? Well, your curiosity got the best of you, and you decided to find out. Bad idea. On a visit to the Aubrey Penhew Military Academy, you were horrified to learn that the entire campus -- faculty, staff, and students -- have been taken over by those Nefarious Demons From Beyond Space and Time. You were stripped of your gear, smacked around, and made to watch twelve straight hours of "Fantasy Island" re-runs. Bummer. After enduring a half day of your one-time comrades kneeling on their knees making "'da plane! 'da plane!" jokes, you were ready saw off your ears with a butter knife. Just as you were eyeying your plastic utensils, the Sgt.-in-charge dashed in and announced that the parade-in-review was about to start.

Title : Disgruntled Former Employee (v.5) Date Finished : 8/14/95 Author : Larry Mulcahy Email Address : lmulcahy@nyx.cs.du.edu Description : One awful day, the misguided management at your high-paying UAC desk job decides it would be a good idea to replace all the SGI Unix workstations with Apple Macs. You refuse to cooperate and soon your manager informs you that your services will no longer be required at UAC. Like any red-blooded American, after weeks or months of brooding on this indignity, you determine that your only recourse is to grab your gun and as much ammo as you can carry, stroll into your former workplace and TAKE OUT AS MANY OF THEM AS YOU CAN before they get you. The day arrives. Getting an elevator to yourself, you pull out your trusty Glock on the way up. Funny, there didn't seem to be the usual number of people coming and going in the lobby. And what about all those black vans parked outside and all the black helicopters buzzing around. Could your buddy have squealed? Nah...

Wad File: End1.WAD Title: The Beginning of the End Arthur: Emil Brundage Email Adress: chrpeter@pacbell.net Date Completed: May 97 Description: You have just stumbled on to a great set of DOOM wads! These puppies took me forever to create, and I assure you you'll like 'em. They're better than most. If you still have Doom on your hard drive, grab these wads! If not, get it back! You'll want to play these levels! I made most of these levels a long, long time ago so some of 'em might have that old-school DOOM feel but they still rock! Additional Credit: Well of course Id software for creating this great game that ruined my life, and also to my friend J. Brooke for letting me use his computer back in the days when I had a 286, and for helping me with the tecnical stuff.

Title : Inferno Author : Christopher Lutz email - Lutz@Centre.edu Description : A nine-level complete replacement for DOOM I, E3. I feel I must warn you about a few minor details. First of all, the levels are large; most often, so large that the game crashes if you try to save your progress. Be aware of this. There is a lot of detail and lovingly crafted atmosphere, sometimes to the point that it eclipses pure lightning-response action. Not that there isn't anything to maim, but if you all you desire to do is blow the living hell out of animated imps, then you may wish to look elsewhere (or at least skip to the second level of the episode). However, if you appreciate looking at your surroundings and thinking that the level could be a real place...well, I believe that I have achieved that, and rather admirably in certain places.

Title : The KILLME Collection or Final KILLME Filename : KILL-ME.WAD Author : S.A. Stephenson Email Address : darters@tbaytel.net Description : FORGET THE DESCRIPTION ALREADY!!! This is DOOM!! You kill things 'cause you want to.....'cause you have to! (Check out KILLME 1-3 text files if you really want a story line!) If you really want the story, e-mail me and I might send you the long version. Why you want this WAD : If you tried KILLME1, KILLME2, or KILLME3 you'll want this because the game play is better (UV is more difficult and easy is easier (except for E1 which was insanely easy at any skill level), minor texture mistakes have been corrected, lines have been realigned with the grid, lighting has changed, dozens of new rooms have been added to most of the levels (there were some levels I thought didn't need many extra rooms, but every level has been extensively overhauled), plus, of course, you get the wonderful KILL-ME.BAT file! The original KILLME trilogy was 3.9 k, the new KILL-ME is 5.3 k. Seriously, if you played any of the first three KILLME WADs and liked them, you'll like the complete set with all the changes. If you never heard of the KILLME WADs before, now's your chance to get them all (new and improved!) without fooling around with three downloads.

newdoom.txt 3 Kb
newdoom.zip 1389 Kb

NEWDOOM.WAD This PWAD represents the combination of just 27 of some of the best levels I have found on the net. I say best meaning that they convey the spirit of the game, and are done with focus on quality. Also, they had to run reasonably well even on a 386/40, which is my deathmatch partner's machine. I did NOT create any of the levels, I only used Movelev (c. Steve Simpson) to renumber them, and DEU (c. Raphael Quinet & Brandon Wyber) to group (and edit if needed) them. And of course BSP11W (c. Colin Reed) for redoing the edited wads' nodes so quickly. They are definately texture, monster, and thing protected from usage by Shareware DOOM. These were compiled to provide the most compatibility with multi-player, deathmatch, and solo settings--Not favoring one setting over another. You get some of everything with this PWAD, and it's excellent in groups. Listed are the levels, their order, and the author's name. All levels can be FTP'd via Internet FTP from infant2.sphs.indiana.edu. Their respective text files have been included in the zip file with this wad. Also, the secret levels are mostly puzzles that don't work too well in Death matches (hence why I give ya a choice of going to them or not), except 2-9.

Title : The Sky May Be Author : DOUG the EAGLE and KANSAM Email Address : b52g@usa.net, boff@globalnet.co.uk Description : Requires Doom 1.6 or above. This is the STRANGEST wad ever made. Most of the action takes place in a cube 8192x8192x8192 in size.. A two-year production with more new graphics than any other PWAD in the known galaxy. Built using monomolecular technology in DEU! (Grid size 4:1 is still too small [sigh]) Story : The Great God Imp has shown mercy on your soul and cast you into the hellish pits of his virtual toybox. Running around the garish lego buildings, you become aware that the virtual toychest is actually running under windows 3.11. However the mouse is broken and the ALT and F4 keys have been removed. You must find a way to shut down the system and end this nightmare! Oh, and watch out for the Great God Imp. He may not be so kind next time He sees you.

Title :PRISON OF TERROR Filename :WSPRISON.WAD Author :Walter D. Sanz Email Address :wxs85004@Bayou.UH.EDU Description :Well its taken me two weeks to finish making this wad. If you explore the entire wad and kill every enemy it will probably take you around 35 minutes. I put in plenty of ammo, medi kits, and armour for multiplayers. I also put in a few traps so be careful. I hope you enjoy playing it because I enjoyed making this wad and it will probably be my last one since Doom II will be out shortly.
